It seems like kicking him out of the Saints game at a critical juncture plus slapping him with a nice fine would have been a better punishment.

Dumb move but it's not like he threw a helmet or something like that, and he was defending his teammate. I feel like what Aaron Donald did preseason was much worse and it was handled "internally" aka nothing happened
